#Out4MentalHealth Interview with Clinical Psychologist Rebecca Gitlin

#Out4MentalHealth is a statewide project that engages LGBTQ people throughout California to develop a mental health equity agenda and offer tools and resources that address these disparities and make our shared goals a reality.

In this video, #Out4MentalhHealth San Fernando Valley co-leads Nicole Kristal (President of Still Bisexual) and Josue Vega (Outreach Specialist, Pride United) interview clinical psychologist Rebecca Gitlin, LGBTQIA2-S specialist for the Los Angeles Department of Mental Health, about mental health issues facing the LGBTQIA2-S community during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dominique Elston LFMT specializes in working with LBGTQ+ families, adolescent sex offenders, adolescent survivors of sex trafficking, and gang members. She currently works in a dual diagnosis rehab with adolescents in Los Angeles. In this video, Elston speaks with Still Bisexual (for the #Out4MentalHealth program) about how LGBTQ+ youth can cope during the COVID-19 epidemic. Elston also offers strategies POC and essential workers can take to maintain their mental health during this trying time.

Excited to post this video from one of our campaign’s biggest supporters.
